A Unique Wildlife Encounter

Indian Springs Ranch offers an exclusive, reservation-only experience for animal lovers just south of Austin. This family-owned ranch provides a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a diverse collection of exotic animals, moving beyond traditional viewing to offer interactive encounters.

Meet the Residents

The ranch is home to over 20 species, including zebras, kangaroos, camels, bison, lemurs, and even a zebadonk (a zebra-donkey hybrid). Visitors can meet notable residents like Clyde the Camel, Chief the White Buffalo, and Gucci the Watusi. The focus is on providing a safe and educational environment where animal welfare is paramount.

Interactive Tours

Private tours are conducted in a Polaris vehicle, guided by an animal care specialist. Guests have the chance to feed many of the animals, with some treats offered directly from hand. This hands-on approach, combined with ample photo opportunities, creates an unforgettable experience for families and groups. The ranch also hosts private events, making it a versatile destination for celebrations.

Know Before You Go

Tours are by reservation only; no same-day visits are permitted. Wear hats and bring water during warmer months, as tours are conducted outdoors. Payment is accepted in cash or credit card on the day of your tour.
